Insane Creature Template
A madman rolls about on the ground, babbling nonsense before quickly springing up and attacking mercilessly
CR: +2
Prerequisites: Must have a sanity score of Zero or less
Alignment: Becomes Chaotic Evil
Type: Same as base creature
Ability Scores: +4 Str, +8 Cha, -8 Wis
AC: An insane creature adds its Charisma modifier to AC as a dodge bonus
Defense: An insane creature's babbling makes it immune to sonic damage and effects that require hearing to be effective
Offense: Insane creatures eschew Normal weapons; they treat all weapons as Improvised Weapons, using the information listed under the Monk of the Empty Hand description. They also gain a natural bite attack that deals 1d6 damage and two natural claw attacks that deal 1d3 damage, unless the base creature has better versions of these attacks.
Skills: +10 Bluff, -10 Diplomacy

Special:
- Insane creatures are immune to all confusion and insanity effects, except for those caused by their madness
- Any creature attempting to make mental contact with an Insane Creature, the creature must make a Will save DC 10+1/2 HD+Cha mod or take 10 sanity damage. Succeeding this save negates this sanity damage. If this causes a creature to gain a madness, it gains a Phobia of using purely mental communication.
